Renovation project of an old lemon house transforms the historic structure into an elegant, modern retreat while preserving its original charm. The extension with an added elevation allowed for the creation of four bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom, along with spacious living, kitchen, and dining areas. Large iron-framed windows with muntins flood the interiors with natural light, while painted green foliage motifs on the walls evoke a sense of timeless garden beauty. Soft pastel hues, reminiscent of a fairytale, create a serene atmosphere, complemented by traditional Lombard terracotta floors in the common areas. In the sleeping quarters, warm national walnut wood brings a touch of refined luxury. The bathrooms are a minimalist’s dream, finished with smooth microcement and lacquered surfaces, offering a modern contrast to the space’s otherwise classic elegance. Each detail, from the ironwork to the handcrafted floors, reflects a balance of sophistication and comfort.
